Nothing much spectacular happened over the holiday weekend including the holiday itself. But it was a nice break and the husband and I got much shopping done.
~E’s speech, he got his progress report and met both goals.
~M & I took the time to look at a book on early humans. We discussed some human evolution, primitive tools, skeletons, ancient cultures, and more.
~When we got home we tried making terra cotta bowls like we’d seen in one of the books about ancient people.
~Lunch
~Park day – we met at a different part of the park and the kids played on the big hill. They rode a skateboard down, slid down on carboard, rolled down and ran around.
~Back at home, after a snack, we made Advent Chains to count down the days until Christmas.
~Alex read stories to Margie at bedtime.
